The Lamb

~ And one shall say unto him, What are those wounds in thy hands? The words are simple. Immediately following (the next verse) ~ "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd..." The wounds of chastisement are not inflicted on the hands, and the punishment of false prophecy was not such wounds, but death. Wounds in the hands were no punishment, which some would inflict. They were the special punishment of the cross , after sustaining which, One only lived. The most literal interpretation, then, of the wounds in the hands harmonizes with the piercing before, and the smiting of the Good Shepherd. "They pierced My Hands and My Feet" Psalm 22:16. HE (suffered) ~ HE (died) and HE ROSE. For (YOU) -- for (me). HE (WILLINGLY) laid down HIS own life, to remove the bondage of darkness mankind was placed in because of 'sin'. Romans 3:25 -GOD presented CHRIST as a sacrifice of atonement ...... that JESUS sacrificed HIS life, shedding HIS blood ... be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare HIS righteousness for the remission of sins ... HE WAS BORN TO DIE. From the foundation of the world, YESHUA-JESUS was slain for us, (Revelation 13:8; 1 Peter 1:20).

HIS predetermined life, death, burial and resurrection -follow a pattern contained within the seven feast days of ELOHIM (Leviticus 23).

The ultimate goal of this plan was to (reunite us) with our FATHER in heaven, through the blood of His New Covenant (Hebrews 8:10; Jeremiah 31:31-34). MESSIAH YESHUA-JESUS said these words just before HE was crucified: "This is My blood of the New Covenant." (Matthew 26:28)

On Shavuot (Pentecost), those who repented of their disobedience (sin) were baptized into the name of YESHUA-JESUS and were given the HOLY SPIRIT bringing them into the new birth and (into) the New Covenant with ELOHIM, our FATHER.

You can still be reunited with your FATHER in heaven; there is still time. Turn away from sin, and turn to HIM. Confess your sin and ask for the forgiveness that is provided for you by the shed blood of your SAVIOR, YESHUA-JESUS. Be baptised into His name, receiving your SAVIOR'S name upon you (Acts 2:38), and your FATHER will give you new birth, a new life, and a new future with HIM...in HIS New Covenant, which [is] the "everlasting covenant." (Hebrews 13:20) 1 Peter 2:21-25 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. https://www.facebook.com/SONG-of-MOSES-and-SONG-of-the-LAMB/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/theWord777/
