Truth, un-sound doctrine, and not studying

Titus 2:1

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

This is why I do what I do ! You know ---

If the bible scare and /or confuses you, ( anybody ) then you are probably NOT studying.

Many just don't or will not take the time to do so.

This is where studying the Bible, and merely reading the Bible, begin to divide into 2 camps.

The apostasy and un-sound doctrine issues,

as far as I'm concerned, are all part & parcel with the great deception

that is coming upon all. Jesus commands us, do not be deceived!

How? Ok, That's a good question. Here is a good answer: by keeping our hearts, and eyes, and minds on HIM.

By staying in the Bible. By studying and searching the scriptures in completeness.

Not fragmenting it so it will fit today's so-called modern themes. We all from time to time

( frequently ) need to read Ecclesiastes, just to give us all a good dose of castor oil. Anybody getting a little too high on their horse - Ecclesiastes is there to smack us all down some !

We ALL need to stop merely ‘’ reading ‘’ the Bible, and start “ STUDYING “ the Bible. It’s not a novel on the bestseller list.

It’s GOD Written Word to us. Respect it. Revere the Author.

We have ALL indulged in the lies of un-sound doctrine from time to time. We are all sinners.

2 John 1:9

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

John 7:17

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Proverbs 4:2

For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

Matthew 22:33

And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

Romans 2:12

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

1 John 1:10

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 12:16

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

James Chapter 2

8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.

11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

ALL of the laws, the ten commadments, the 613 + Mosaic laws, nobody can keep them !

That's the point of JESUS CHRIST, and WHY WE NEED HIM ! We can't do it without HIM.

The architect of the universe designed it this way. We are currently cut-off from GOD. Not completely, but we are in fact on the wrong side of a great chasm. WE need JESUS in order to bridge that gap back to our point of origin. satan helped get us here, and wants to keep us here because he hates us ALL and want us ALL to suffer the 2, yes TWO DEATHS. Physical and spiritual.

Everyone is appointed the first one... The second one is the one you really want no part of.

Bowing and curtsying to un-sound doctrine, spewing un-sound doctrine, entertaining sins of the flesh will get you killed twice with great certainty.

Reprove, rebuke, exhort. Look those terms up in a Biblical dictionary and then read 2 Timothy 4:2, and then re-read all of the verses I just listed. Then look up: Edify, Edification as well... Once you've done that, then I want you ( all ) to tell me ear tickling is the best way to go here in the lack-luster 21st century.

The People that make these dumb statements like: I don't like fire and brimstone preaching, really are doing nothing more than squarely placing themselves into a box that's gonna get chucked straight into fire and brimstone. Sorry, I get '' fired up '' on this subject ! ( No pun intended..)

2 Timothy 4:2

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Revelation Chapter 20

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Luke 4:32

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
