Come just as you are !

“ Come just as you are…” In Luke 19:10 JESUS said, "...the Son of man"- (referring to himself with the term reserved for the Jewish Messiah) came to seek and to save the lost." Shortly before his death, JESUS told HIS closest followers, during what is now known as the Last Supper, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide..." (John 15:16)

To me, [ one of ] the most important truth's in Christianity is that GOD loves us enough to seek us out even before we start trying to find HIM. A good FATHER loves HIS children. ( And that is what we are to GOD...)

1 Peter 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

What do you have to do to come to The LORD? Do you need to shine your shoes? Comb your hair?

Buy new clothes? Become sin free? NO ! All you need to do is this --- Just simply 'seek after HIM.

GOD doesn't care that you are a sinner, come as you are. We are (ALL) sinners, period. Saved -or- unsaved.

A thief, a murderer, a liar, it doesn’t matter. We are ALL sinners to begin with. We could literally make a list a mile long of faults, and sins. Just simply - seek HIM.

Here is a short list of what Coming to JESUS is NOT about ~
  • It is not about repeating a sinner’s prayer

  • It is not about walking down an aisle

  • Is is not about filling out a Decision Card

What Coming to JESUS, "IS":
  • Confessing your sins and seeing your sinfulness and realizing your desperate need for the Savior

  • Accepting JESUS as your personal SAVIOR

  • Believing with your heart and not just your head

  • Relying on, fully trusting in, leaning upon, and resting in — HIM

  • Believing that HE is your SAVIOR (first) and allowing the HOLY SPIRIT to help you make HIM your Lord too

  • Believing that there is no other way to the FATHER in Heaven except by JESUS CHRIST alone

If you believe in the Bible, you can believe this:

+ JESUS [ IS ] THE WORD. +

+JESUS WAS WITH GOD [BEFORE] THE EARTH EXISTED. (JESUS is the physical representation of GOD in the flesh. GOD, The Father, is Spirit) HE LEFT HIS GLORY WITH THE FATHER AND WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN, LIVED A PERFECT, SINLESS LIFE, DIED ON CALVARY FOR YOUR REDEMPTION, AND WAS RAISED AGAIN AFTER THREE DAYS. TODAY HE IS IN HEAVEN AND HIS SACRIFICE HAS PROVIDED A WAY FOR YOU TO COME TO A SAVING FAITH. BEING SAVED IS FULLY A WORK OF GOD.

NO ONE IS SAVED BY WORKS.

NO ONE IS SAVED BY THEIR OWN EFFORTS.

IT IS BY GRACE ALONE, IN FAITH ALONE, BY JESUS ALONE.

IT IS A GIFT OF GOD.

Ephesians Chapter 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast. Hebrews 10:17

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

WE PRAY THAT YOU WILL COME TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST, BE BORN-AGAIN, AND BE SAVED TODAY.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Acts 16:30-31 “what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Romans 10:9-10 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

“Come unto Me.” (Mat 11:28)

BUT WHAT IS, ‘COME TO ME’?

What would you understand by it, if you heard the words “Come to me” for the first time? What does a little child understand by what is said in Matthew 11:25? It is positively too simple to be made plainer by any amount of explanation. If you could see the LORD JESUS standing there, right before you, and you heard HIM say, “Come!” (Matthew 14:29) would you say, What does ‘come’ to you mean?”

Fear not, believe, and let yourself come to Him straight away! "LISTEN" and turn to the LORD: say unto HIM, “Take away all iniquity, and receive me LORD.” And know that HIS answer is, “Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37).

GIVE A QUIET HOUR, AND STUDY THE RECORDS OF HOW OTHERS CAME TO HIM.

Begin with Matthew 8, and trace out all through the Gospels how people of ALL walks of life came to JESUS with all sorts of different needs, (Matthew 9:10, 14, 18, 20, 28). Trace in these your own spiritual needs of cleansing, healing, salvation, guidance, sight - [perception] and learning.

John 12:32

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

Matthew 7:8

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 Corinthians 6:15-20

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

John 8:24

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

1 Chronicles 16:11

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. Seek HIM and HE ( will ) Come ! Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
