Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
With this plan, you will read each day from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. Gain understanding of how GOD’S Word is tied together. ( Intrinsically linked ) Every word and detail is by deliberate design.

* "Reading" The Bible ( versus ) "Studying" The Bible....* I suggest reading through the Bible ( first ) to get an overall feel for it. Becoming acquainted with it. GOD, is all about a relationship and with any good relationship, you need to become well acquainted, first !
"Studying" involves a ( word by word ) descriptive understanding. It reveals a much greater understanding, and takes far longer, than a simple read. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly
equipped for every good work. A.S.A.P. = Always Say A Prayer before you begin.
The HOLY SPIRIT is our Teacher, our Guide, The Unnamed Servant. Invite HIM in to teach and guide you.
I also suggest a good bible dictionary, ( and ) an Exhaustive Concordance.
( I use a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, mainly..)
I study and read the KJV version -
as well as the LXX ( Greek Septuagint & The Torah. )
