A Happier Family

( 10 ) STEPS TO A HAPPIER FAMILY !

GOD wants us to be happy.

( HE [ is ] Our FATHER after all. )

But what does that look like?

How do we find happiness?

The [only] way to find happiness is through HIM.

HE created us!

GOD knows us better than we know ourselves.

Some of HIS ways may seem counter-intuitive at first,

but the verses that follow demonstrate where true

contentment and joy can be found—in HIM !

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,

that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” 1. COMMITMENT -

Be committed to GOD and family. ( GOD 1st.) Read / Study The Bible daily. Proverbs 16:3 2. TRAINING -

Teach your children Biblical principles and the difference

between right and wrong. Lead by example. Proverbs 22:6

3. PRAYER -

Spend time in prayer each day. Pray (with) your family.

Colossians 4:2

4. RESPECT -

Respect others and teach your children to respect others.

1 Peter 2:17 5. TIME -

Spend quality time with GOD and your family everyday. Ephesians 5:15-16

6. COMMUNICATION - Take time to talk to your family members every day. Learn to listen to each other. James 1:19

7. LOVE -

Love GOD, your family and your neighbors. Love your children equally and unconditionally. Matthew 22:37-39

8. STANDARDS -

Set standards based on Biblical Principles for yourself and your family. Require obedience from your children.

Discipline them (fairly) with love. Ephesians 6:1

9. CHOICES -

Make wise choices based on GOD’S Commandments and the words

Of JESUS. Choose to serve the LORD every day. Joshua 24:15

10. ENCOURAGEMENT -

Be an encourager to your spouse and children.

Acknowledge their Accomplishments.

Be a friend and encourage those in need.

1 Thessalonians 5:11,16,17-18. YESHUA / JESUS Commanded in Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
