…….Before Time.

What went on (before) “time”?

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and [all] the sons of God shouted for joy? There can be little doubt that the 'morning stars' or, (angelic beings) ( or angels ) is intended here, and that they seemed to unite in a chorus of praise when another world was added to their number. They “sang together” - United in a grand chorus or concert of praise. It was a usual and therefore a customary practice to celebrate the (laying of a cornerstone), or the completion of an edifice, by [rejoicing]; (compare) Zechariah 4:7; Ezra 3:10. They “shouted for joy” - That is, they joined in praise for (so glorious) a work as the creation of a new world, A new existence or dimension. ( ? ) They saw that it was an event which was fitted to honorGOD. It was a new manifestation of HIS goodness and power; it was an enlargement of HIS empire; it was an exhibition of benevolence that claimed their gratitude. The expression in this verse is one of uncommon, perhaps of unequaled beauty. This very verse in Job, begs a very mysterious question, a question that is very difficult to come to a solid or accurate conclusion... Which is: What went on [before] “TIME” ?? By our own ( 'reckoning' ), which means to: establish, calculate, or count something, we rely on the measurement of (physical time) to accomplish this. "TIME" -- is a 'physical property'. In quantum physics, everything has a frequency, hence time is embedded in the very structure of the Universe. Conventionally, you may take the basic unit of time as Planck time. Planck time, is that time which needs light for the spatial distance of Planck's Constant. In actual fact, both the photon and space time itself will have a component based on frequency, So Planck-time is a 'property' of light. It's the shortest divisible amount of time. Planck's constant =6.62607004 × 10-34; ( ten ) to the minus ( thirty-four seconds ) (( OR )): "the twinkling of an eye" !!! Meaning: You CANNOT divide or reduce ANYTHING to a lesser degree then 10 to the (minus) 34. If you do, you encounter a phenomena known (as): Planck's Constant. Once you divide something smaller then 10 to the minus 34, it, ( whatever ''it'' may be ) LOSES LOCALITY, and becomes everywhere at once. 'Time' is a measure of [change] on a scale of: “before and after”. If we may use [that] word at all in speaking of (eternity)-- Or eternity past, ( ‘time’ ) that is, there was no change, because there was ( literally ), no time. Time (began) to [be] when [changing] [creatures] came into being. (‘Changing creatures’) = ( ‘us’ ). GOD knew ‘us’ (before) HE knitted us in the womb, Before HE formed our physical being. Psalm 139:10-16 helps to confirms this. "Adam & Eve" When we [changed] from being (with GOD) in heaven which is outside of time, to existence in (this plane) (world), which is in the plane of time, (Outside of eternity) - we were effectively [wrought] (in time). { Wrought: "molded," "shaped," or "manufactured." } Time is a restless continuous set of changes. Ahead is a moment we call (future)-- it quickly changes into (present)-- then quickly changes into (past). GOD (could have) created an everlasting world, without beginning or end. But HE chose (instead) to create a world with a beginning-- -- an existence "before" there was nothing. Genesis 1:1 tells us, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." And CHRIST told HIS FATHER : "You loved me before the foundation of the world" (John 17:24). This is more than mere postulation … Some (very) significant events took place [BEFORE] Genesis 1:1 occurred. One event in particular, one most definite, is; -When were the angels created? -And how long was it ( time wise ) if that is even appropriate, before 'us' were 'they' created, and How long was it (before) GOD began to make any kind Of 'realm' for them, ( or us ) before HE created The heavens and the earth? I’m not even certain that the application [of] ‘time’ Itself is applicable in this instance. Why did GOD create? The purpose of the created world is tied up with the purpose of man. St. Irenaeus wrote: "In the beginning GOD formed Adam, not because HE was in need of humans, but so He might have someone to receive HIS benefits" It’s as good an answer as any I suppose... Is it so we can say HE always loved us, since HE always willed us the most basic good, existence? Beyond that, HE wills that, "all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4). If to will (good) to (another) is to love, then this is really love. But when we love, we need a [starter], we need to [see] something good or fine in another. When we do, we reciprocate That goodness back to the person, or another. ( That’s the premise, anyway..) But GOD loved us when we did not exist.

1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. If HE created for HIS own glory, Then HE made creatures that by their very nature ( and having the freewill to do so,) would give glory to GOD, even though GOD gains nothing by that glory. St. Irenaeus (also) said, "HE ( GOD ) wanted to have someone to whom to be generous in infinite goodness- -but we must cooperate to receive HIS gifts". (( But we don’t always cooperate, do we? )) Which brings me to the next Important, Two-fold question… When and Why did “The Cherub that covereth” - rebel?? There was obviously a point when there was Harmonious activity among all the hosts of heaven. Job 38:7 states that (indeed) ALL of the Son’s of GOD sang and shouted (together). So what happened to disrupt this harmony? And --- When did this happen?? Let’s jump (forward in ‘time’) a bit.. When it was announced that one of the disciples ( Judas Iscariot ) was going to betray JESUS, JESUS responded: John 13:26

“Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.” JESUS, in dipping the sop, gave the signal. That was the ‘trigger’ - It is the point when the devil entered Judas and Caused him to do what he did. Knowing this, now -- Is it possible, ( possible I say ) Is it possible That “The Cherub who covereth”, or, “The covering cherub” (satan) was (already created with his mission already Written into his very being? (( Just a question…)) Yes ~ I know Pride was a significant factor with the fall of 'lucifer'... It just makes me wonder. Genesis 1:1 states that - “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. The angels were not created in heaven. They were already created and present when GOD Began this work of ‘Creation’. They (were) with HIM, ( obviously ), that is, with the vision of GOD. If they had been created with the vision that GOD had when HE created the heaven and the earth, would sin have even been possible? Obviously, some immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law took place - but what? And when? When did The Adversary fall? Previously he was a minor figure who was subservient to GOD, (as in the book of Job.) Now a cosmic duality came into being, in which the rulers of this era were the forces of darkness, led by the Prince of Darkness. " I know, I know, it's more Questions then Answers " ! But GOD gave the angels (some sort) of command- -we do not know what--and, some obeyed, some did not. (Freewill). Those who disobeyed were fixed in evil, and became devils. When we sin, our intelligence is limited by the material part of our intellect, (the brain in our heads). For a material brain is much less powerful than the ‘spiritual intelligence’ our [souls] have. This means that we seldom see things as fully as possible at once. But an angel ( seemingly ) has no such limit, and hence sees everything as fully as possible at once. So he cannot go back on his decision, and say: "I see it differently now; I wish I had not done that". This seems obvious to me, because satan, nor the fallen angels, devils, ever seemed to repent.

The fallen angels, the devils, still keep the great powers natural to a pure spirit. So they can do things that seem like miracles to us. It would seem (satan) by way of his superior Beauty and charm, caused the angels who left their 1st. estate, to rebel against the commands given by their Very CREATOR, ( GOD ) - causing (them) to sin ? That still doesn’t answer many questions… Like for instance - WHEN? WHY, (exactly)? The Bible doesn’t give much information about satan or the angels. But it does give enough to answer some of these questions. GOD'S Word is (infallible) and the (absolute authority), and we need to be leery of conclusions drawn from sources outside the Bible, such as man’s ideas or traditions. Let’s consider what the Bible says related to these questions... The first use of the name satan is found in 1 Chronicles 21:1; chronologically, Job, which was written much earlier, surpasses this. satan is found throughout Job 1 and 2. satan literally means “adversary” in Hebrew. Another name appears in the Old Testament in the King James Version: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12; KJV). This is the only passage that uses the name Lucifer to refer to satan. This name doesn’t come from Hebrew but Latin. Perhaps this translation into English was influenced by the Latin Vulgate, which uses this name. In Latin, Lucifer means “light bringer.” The Hebrew is: heylel and means “light bearer,” “shining one,” or “morning star.” Many modern translations translate this as star of the morning or morning star. In this passage, heylel refers to the king of Babylon and Satan figuratively. Of course, Jesus lays claim to a (similar) title in Revelation 22:16 - referred to as: "the bright and morning star". Though the passage in Revelation is in (Greek) and the passage in Isaiah is (Hebrew), [both] are translated similarly. "Lucifer_, wasn’t necessarily his 'pre-Fall' name any more than Satan would be. Some believe that 'Lucifer' was a (heavenly or angelic name) - that was taken from Satan when he rebelled. The Bible doesn’t explicitly state this, though satan is nowhere else referred to as Lucifer but instead is called other names like the devil, Satan, the red dragon, etc. This tradition may hold some truth, although the 'idea' seems to 'miss' that this verse is referring to him during and after his fall—( not before. ) In the New Testament, other names reveal more about satan’s current nature. Devil (diabolos) means “false accuser, satan, slanderer” in Greek and is the word from which the English word diabolical is formed. (satan) is called a dragon in Revelation 12:9 and 20:2, as well as the “evil one” in several places. Revelation 12:9 calls him “that ancient serpent” or “serpent of old,” and Matthew 4:3 calls him the “tempter.” Other names for satan include Abaddon (destruction), Apollyon (destroyer, Revelation 9:11), Beelzebub or Beelzebul (Matthew 12:27) and Belial (2 Corinthians 6:15). satan is also referred to as the god of this world/age (2 Corinthians 4:4), prince of this world (John 12:31), and father of lies (John 8:44). ( He is called [a] 'cherub' in Ezekiel 28:16, ) [singular] )- {"Cherubim", is, [ plural ]. } In 2 Corinthians 11:14, we find that satan masquerades as an angel of light— another allusion to his angel-like status: And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Although it is possible that satan was an angel, it may be better to say that he was (originally) a (“heavenly host”) (which would include angels), since we know that he came from heaven, but don’t know with certainty that he was an actual angel. Isaiah 14:12: How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! When satan, the great dragon in Revelation 12:9, fell, it appears that he took a third of the heavenly host with him (a “third of the stars” were taken to earth with him by his tail, Revelation 12:4). * However big that number is, no one but GOD knows...* We do know that angels who fell - have nothing good to look forward to: Then He will also say to those on the left hand, “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment (2 Peter 2:4). What these passages do NOT say is (who satan [was] before the fall - and where) the angels and him 'were',(before) Creation week took place. Yes, He (was) the "covering cherub". Ezekiel 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. "All spiritual pride is of the devil. Those who indulge therein must expect to perish." --What I REALLY don’t understand -- is how 'one' could be in the (direct presence of GOD), knowing you were created (by) GOD, and (witnessed) GOD Create by speaking, all substance ( MATTER ) into existence out of absolutely nothing, And think; I’m not gonna listen to HIM.. I’m gonna listen to this (‘other’) being… this; 'created' being... ...He really seems to know something….. (.....huh?) Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. GOD = [ Not, created ] ( as in always existed ). satan = [ created ], Created by GOD. Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. I make peace, and create evil . . . The words have no bearing on the insoluble problem of what 'we' call (the origin of evil). “Evil,” as opposed to “peace” or prosperity, is suffering, (but not sin). GOD is declaring that there is no power, either of light or darkness, of good or evil, of happiness or misery, [independent] (of) the One Supreme GOD, infinite in power and in goodness. There is no GOD beside JEHOVAH. There is nothing done without HIM. HE makes peace, put here for all good; and creates evil, not the evil of sin, but the evil of punishment. HE is the Author of all that is true, holy, good, or happy; and evil, error, and misery, which came into the world (by) HIS permission, through the willful apostasy of his creatures, but are restrained and overruled to HIS righteous purpose. GOD knew all that (would happen) in HIS Creation, (BEFORE) HE Created it. HE [is] omniscient... Having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight. GOD'S response to everything is ( only ) a surprise to us, not to HIM. HE (knew) this satan being would rebel and fall, HE knew Adam & Eve's rebellion would take place. HE is NEVER, EVER, taken by surprise ! HE is never in ''the rears"... HE is never responding to catch-up with any situation. Everything HE does, is to benefit ( us ). And all HE ask's is that we 1st and Foremost, Glorify HIM. ( I don't think that's too much to ask, is it? ) The Bible doesn’t give an exact time of satan’s creation or of his fall, but does give some clues. Paul says in Colossians that GOD-CHRIST created all things: For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). ( Also ) - John 1:3; All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. So logically, satan was created, (as was) the “heaven of heavens.” So the question (then) becomes, when was the heaven of heavens, created? The Bible uses the word heaven in several ways. The first mention is Genesis 1:1:In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The Hebrew word for heavens is plural (dual form): shamayim, dual of an unused singular shameh. The word itself means: “heaven, heavens, sky, visible heavens, abode of stars, universe, atmosphere,” and “the abode of GOD.” The context helps determine the meaning of a particular word; [heavens] is (properly) [plural], and many Bible scholars and translators have rightly translated it as such. Therefore, it seems safe to assume that the “heaven of heavens” was created along with the [physical heavens] (the space-time continuum, i.e., the physical universe, where the stars, sun, and moon would abide after they were created on day 4) during creation week. It’s no less MIND-BOGGLING to understand that Even after 1000 years of being with CHRIST In HIS Millennial Kingdom - after no influence coming in from satan ( he’s locked up) during This 1000 year reign, and after he will be released is STILL able to convince a huge, vast number of beings (host's of heaven, human, demon); To mount up arms and make one last run at Toppling JESUS CHRIST. That BLOWS my mind to pieces ! It makes ZERO, ZILTCH, ZIP, NADA - NO SENSE to me, why ANY being ( created or otherwise) would attempt to do such a thing. Because of their disobedience, the wicked angels were condemned to eternal punishment. Peter, using poetic language, says: "When the angels sinned, God did not spare them, but consigned them to the pit of hell to be kept for the judgment" (2 Peter 2:4).

The will of the devil is fixed in evil, and so he tries to seduce people, to harm them spiritually, and even to bring them to hell. He wants to lead us from the faithful service of GOD. 1st. Peter 5:8-9 advises: "Be calm and watch, for your enemy the devil goes about seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, strong in faith, knowing that your brothers all over the world have the same trial."

GOD allows the devil to do this as a result of HIS decision to create spiritual beings, having ( free will ). To thwart that regularly would be to contradict HIS own natural laws. HE does draw good out of evil: temptation gives us the opportunity to show our faith and to trust in HIM; it gives us the chance to grow in virtue by the struggle. And HE ( GOD ) has given us a powerful 'counter-force' in our SAVIOR, our KINSMAN REDEEMER; JESUS, The CHRIST, Our MESSIAH. The LAMB who takes away the sin of the world. Maybe one day, we can ask HIM all of these questions ! In Isaiah Chapter 65:24-25 GOD gives to us an awesome reassurance. One that only a loving ALL-KNOWING GOD ( FATHER ) ABBA could, or would say with ALL confidence... And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. WOW ! That means -- HE will be available to answer questions ( BEFORE ) we're finished (trying) to ask them? (( Count me in ! I have a lot of questions...........!!! )) Verse 25 ~ The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. HALLELUJAH !
