Depravity comes as a result of Human choice

Deniers, Whisperers, backbiters --“Secret backbiters and slanderers of every kind.”

2 Peter 2:19

“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” Those of "the world" - those who deny CHRIST, those who proclaim themselves to be freemen (and women) who refuse to receive the gift of grace those who push-back against the Redemptive works of JESUS CHRIST, those who mock at HIM, denying the very GOD of the very GOD... "Those people" have incarcerated themselves further still submitting to the works of the devil and evil --- partakers and promoters in unrighteousness. The word of truth is the water of life, which refreshes the souls that receive it; but deceivers spread out and promote error, and are set forth as empty, because there is no truth in them. In the midst of (their talk) of liberty, these men are the vilest slaves; their own lusts gain a complete victory over them, and they are actually in bondage. When men are entangled, they are easily overcome; therefore Christians should keep close to the word of GOD, and watch against all who seek to bewilder them. ~ Some people have said to me ~ “What are you going to do, if this ‘JESUS’ person doesn’t show up” !? To which I say; “What are YOU going to do (when) HE does” ? A lifetime of “denial” will never justify your actions, nor excuse them. Denial leads to DEPRAVITY - Moral pollution that biases a person and leads them to evil and froward actions, causing them to turn away from GOD. Depravity comes as a result of Human choice. Romans 1:29

“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,” Rejection - denial - pretending not to know - deciding not to believe in GOD, Are ALL actionable decisions that WILL result in judgement. In the horrid depravity of the heathen, the truth of our LORD’S words was shown: Light was come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil; for he that doeth evil hateth the light. The truth was not to their taste. And, we all know how soon a man will contrive, against the strongest evidence, to reason himself out of the belief of what he dislikes. But a man cannot be brought to greater slavery than to be given up to his own lusts. As the non-believers do not like to keep GOD in their knowledge, they commit crimes wholly against reason and their own welfare. All the while trying to reckon some kind of self-justification for their actions. 2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. There never yet was a man, who had no reason to lament his strong corruptions, and his secret dislike to the will of GOD. Therefore this is a call to self-examination, the end of which should be, a deep conviction of sin, and of the necessity of deliverance from a state of condemnation. “REPENTANCE” !

Repentance, is a godly grief that changes one's mind heart and life through trust, trust in CHRIST JESUS, Jeremiah 26:3; 2 Corinthians 7:8-10. Repentance may simply mean regret, or change of mind, Matthew 27:3. "REPENTANCE", is the first step to becoming a "Christian". It means to recognize that ‘life’ without GOD is wrong, and to be sorry for the pain caused by that godless life, and to change to GOD’S way of living, Acts 2:38; 3:19. Acts 3:19

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Own up to your sins ~ turn from them - and turn to CHRIST. It WILL BE the Best decision YOU ever make !
