- RAPID DEFECTION -
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
WHY are you following “another” gospel ? Galatians 1:6-9
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. “Rapid defection” ~ The New Testament , The doctrine to which we have been given, as it was given to the Apostles, in their adhesion, [is] a doctrine of salvation by grace. Now today, we are being ‘bombarded’ by what (“seems”) to be different versions of the same truth. Wait a minute..? A different version? How is that possible?
There CANNOT BE any second gospel, nor is there “truthfully” anything of the kind. Another gospel, or in addition to, is not a new gospel, but only a factitious perversion of the old. Those who do this— no matter who they be - are accursed. We, as believing Christians, as followers of the MESSIAH, CHRIST JESUS, are to adhere to GOD’S Words. (Not) other gospels except those that [were] given to the APOSTLES, from The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD. “Were”... An Important (past subjunctive) -- “Were”, which denotes they are a completed work. “Were” as in, it has “been” “already” given. --“Other” words or (gospels)..... There is NO [OTHER] rightful, GOD-Breathed scripture, that has, is, or will be given, No additions to the Holy Bible. NOTHING truthful, or rightly given by the likes of: some angel, or Joseph Smith and his magic hat, or E.G. White, Islam, and this non-sense concerning the angel Gabriel giving the Koran to Mohammed, or some roman official, or ANY gnostic writing, or any ‘other’ source you can think of…......... Galatians 1:6 uses the word (in English) “removed”. “Removed” (here), in the Greek word, is one regularly used for a - “deserter,” “turn-coat,” or “apostate,” either in war, politics, or religion. The [tense] is strictly present: “You are now, at this moment, in the act of falling away.” And to think that a ‘war-like’ connotation does not apply here, then you are MISSING the point altogether, because we (are) in a war. (One against the kingdom of Darkness.) And ‘that kingdom’ and all who follow it -- (either) knowingly - or - unknowingly, are making great efforts in trying to thwart GOD’S Words by distorting and perverting them, any way possible.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Liars abound…! *fac·tious definition: Divided, split,relating or inclined to a state of faction. *fac·ti·tious definition: Bogus, fake false, artificially created or developed. Unto another gospel: which is not another. It is to be regretted that the English language hardly admits the fine shade of distinction which exists here in the Greek. The Greek has two words for “another:” one (the first of those which is here used) implying a difference in kind, the other implying mere numerical addition.
Another gospel do I call it? ( and that would be in addition to...) It might be ‘supposed’ to be some alternative theory, existing side by side with that which you originally heard; but this cannot be. This “other gospel” is not a second gospel; for there cannot be two gospels. The inference, therefore, to be drawn is that it is not a gospel in [any] sense of the word. It then, is to be be dismissed. It is no true gospel, but only mischievous and factious meddling (causing division) by the part played of certain false teachers. It is through the grace of CHRIST — by GOD’S gracious gospel, and HIS gracious power, that CHRIST has called men into the grace of GOD, NOT by some ‘slick’ phraseology of mankind. Nor by some angel. “Unto another gospel” Is a pretended revelation from GOD, trying to make a way by attaining justification and salvation, which is a way entirely inconsistent with the very fundamental principles of doctrine which you were first taught. ANOTHER GOSPEL ~ Is no gospel at all. The Apostles were charged / tasked with writing doctrine. Sound doctrine. The HOLY SPIRIT brought EVERYTHING JESUS had taught them into remembrance. John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Those are JESUS’ words. The HOLY SPIRIT brought into (their) minds, the Apostles, everything that CHRIST ever said to them. “GOD” is the author, man is merely the pen, here. Any other method attempted for the obtaining justification and salvation; than that which we have formerly preached unto you - And confirmed by such nonsense and uncontrolled miracles; let him, be accursed. The word in the Greek is, ανάθεμα, anathema: Cursed, damned. Let him bringing false doctrine be cut off from GOD, and CHRIST, and HIS people, and devoted to a perpetual and most dreadful curse.
Hebrews 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
