THE BIBLE. What does the “Bible”mean to you? The Bible contains the mind of GOD, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners - and the happiness of believers. It’s doctrines are Holy, it’s precepts are binding, it’s histories are true, and it’s decisions are Immutable. ALL should read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and (practice) it, to be Holy. It contains GOD’S AGAPE LOVE for believers, Light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It (is) the Travelers map, the pilgrims staff, the pilots compass, the soldier’s sword and buckler, and the Christians charter. Here ~ paradise is restored, Heaven opened - and the gates of hell, Disclosed and CLOSED. CHRIST JESUS is its grand subject, Goodness the design, and the Glory of GOD it’s end. These Words (The Bible ) GOD’S Preserved Words for us ( ALL ) ~ Should fill the memories-
Rule the heart- and Guide the feet. STUDY IT DAILY, SLOWLY, FREQUENTLY, and PRAYERFULLY. It is a mine of wealth, far exceeding ANY earthly treasure. It is a paradise of Glory and a river of pure pleasure. It is given you in Life, It WILL Be OPENED AT JUDGEMENT - and be remembered forever. It involves the HIGHEST RESPONSIBILITY, will reward the greatest labor, ~ and will condemn all who trifle with its most Sacred contents. “Doxology” δοξολογία, δόξα, λογία ~ Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow; Praise HIM, all creatures here below;
Praise HIM above, ye heavenly host; Praise The FATHER, The SON, and The HOLY GHOST.
